About VTM Group

We believe every young person deserves the chance to reach their full potential.

VTM Group Limited is an Ofsted-registered provider of supported accommodation, working with local authorities to give care-experienced young people a genuinely safe, stable and supportive place to live as they prepare for independent adulthood. Every home is staffed around the clock and built around the needs, goals and voice of the young people living there.

Excellence

In everything we do, for every young person we support.

Teamwork

Genuine collaboration with young people, families and partners.

Honesty

Open, straightforward communication, always.

Ownership

Taking responsibility for our work, our words and our actions.

Our Vision

“For every young person facing adversity, including homelessness, to realise their aspirations and reach their full potential.”

This vision sits behind every decision we make — from how we design our homes, to how our staff show up for the young people living in them, every single day.

Strength

Built through courage and resilience — ours, and the young people we walk alongside.

Our Homes

Small, settled households across Milton Keynes.

Our supported accommodation placements are located across Milton Keynes, each set up for a small number of young people to live comfortably alongside staff who are there around the clock.

Own room
Every young person has their own bedroom, with plenty of storage and space to make it theirs.
Same-sex households
Kitchen, bathroom and lounge are shared with others of the same sex, in a small, settled group.
24-hour support
Every home is staffed day and night, which may include a member of staff sleeping in overnight.
Wi-Fi & streaming
Every home has Wi-Fi throughout and access to a streaming service, plus comfortable shared spaces.
How We Support You

Support that is built around you, not the other way round.

Every young person we support is unique, with their own needs, goals and hopes for the future. Our Support Workers work with each young person to build a support plan around what genuinely matters to them.

EDUCATION & EMPLOYMENT

Building a future that's yours

We help young people access education, training or employment locally, and set up a comfortable space in their room to study, with internet access throughout.

MONEY & BUDGETING

Confidence with independence

From setting up a bank account to working through a simple budget, we help young people build the everyday skills that independent living calls for.

CULTURE, FAITH & IDENTITY

Room to be yourself

We support young people to follow their religious and cultural practices, from dietary needs to places of worship, and arrange interpreters for reviews and meetings.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES

A life beyond the home

Sport, music, art, the outdoors — we help young people find their way into the things they enjoy, connecting them with what's happening locally in Milton Keynes.

GOALS & ASPIRATIONS

Goals that are genuinely yours

Support Workers help young people set their own goals, from exams and driving lessons to cooking, laundry and relationships that matter to them.

FAMILY & FRIENDS

Relationships at your pace

Young people are welcome to have friends and family visit, with sensible safeguards in place, and support to navigate contact arrangements at their own pace.

Wellbeing & Safety

Keeping you safe is the most important part of what we do.

Our approach is set out in full in our Safeguarding Policy, Behaviour Management Policy and Missing Children Policy. In short, here's what every young person can rely on.

01

If anyone makes you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or pressured into something you don't want to do, tell a member of staff — whoever you feel most able to talk to.

02

If you ever need to leave suddenly, please try to let us know where you're going, even briefly. We worry, and we want to help — not tell you off.

03

You will never be in trouble for telling us something difficult or worrying, including about your own behaviour.

04

We take online safety seriously too. Staff are always here to talk to if anything online has worried or upset you.

Your Mental Health

It's okay to not be okay — and it's okay to ask for help.

Everyone struggles at some point. Feeling low, unmotivated, isolated, or physically unwell without a clear reason can all be signs that things are getting hard. Support is always close by, whether that's a Support Worker, a trusted friend, or one of the services below.

Moving On

Preparing for independence, well before the day it happens.

Moving on from supported accommodation is something we start preparing for well in advance — never something that happens suddenly. It's a journey we walk through together, honestly and at a pace that works.

Settling In

Finding your feet

Your Support Worker helps you settle in, set your first goals, and understand what to expect from life in your new home.

Building Skills

Everyday independence

Cooking, budgeting, laundry, banking — the practical skills that make independent living genuinely manageable are built up gradually, at your pace.

Pathway Planning

Your plan, your voice

Your Pathway Plan sets out the steps ahead, developed with your Social Worker and Pathway Advisor, and reviewed with you regularly.

Moving On

Ready for your own tenancy

When the time is right, we help you prepare for managing your own accommodation — from tenancy responsibilities to keeping on top of bills.

Your Voice Matters

Raising a concern or complaint

If a young person, family member or professional is unhappy with a placement or feels the support isn't right, they have every right to raise it — and we take that seriously.

How to raise a concern

Concerns can be raised directly with a Support Worker, a home manager, or — where relevant — a Social Worker or Pathway Advisor. For an independent review, our management team can be contacted directly using the details on this page.

1

Tell us what's wrong. Speak to a Support Worker, a manager, or contact us directly by phone or email.

2

We respond quickly. A member of our senior team will be in touch within two working days to properly understand the concern.

3

We follow through. A resolution, or a clear explanation of next steps, follows within a further 28 working days.

Get In Touch

We're here whenever you need us.

Whether you're a young person, a family member, a Local Authority, or a placing professional — our team is ready to help.
